To make sure the outline of the story is clear, we decided to record a voice over informing the audience that the film is based around a girl called Cassandra's 'book full of secrets'. We made sure that the monologue didn't give the audience details about the story behind the book, other than hinting that it is dangerous with the phrases "don't touch it" and "beware". We did this so that the whole story wasn't being given away, this will intrigue the audience and make them want to watch the full film.
