To create a ghostly effect we used pale foundation on Kaitlyn
when we filmed the scenes of Cassandra’s ghost in the modern day. We used this
so that the character looked significantly different to how she was when she
was alive.
We used red lipstick under her eyes so she looked worn out
and like she had been crying. This hopefully will allow viewers to see her
history of depression just by looking at her appearance.
We used a white contact lens in one of her eyes which is meant to infer that Cassandra is dead and set her
apart as they make her look scary.
