North Chamber- Rough Cut

North Chamber - Rough Cut from Hannah Boardman on Vimeo.

This is a rough version of the North Chamber trailer; at this stage, we have begun to add sound effects to parts of the film, however the trailer doesn't flow smoothly and lacks music.

We still have to add music that gets louder throughout the trailer to build up tension in order to put viewers on edge. At the moment the trailer only has random sound effects over each 'jumpy' part of the trailer and they don't flow into each other so music is our main focus at this stage of the post-production process. There is distracting background noise in some shots, especially in the first one which was filmed outside so we need to reduce this so that it does not distract the audience from what is going on in the scene and it will also make it look more professional. We have yet to record the monologue which is going to be edited over the scene in which Scarlett finds the Cassandra's book in the back of a store cupboard.

We haven't edited a couple of the scenes near the end of the trailer, these need to be completed in order for the trailer to build tension and keep the audience interested. We want to make the shots shorter as the trailer goes on and therefore need to cut down the clips that slow down the momentum of the trailer.
